We believe in upward social mobility through Holistic Child Development which is covered in these steps:
Basic - Shapes, Colours, Phonics are introduced & play-method is used to develop all the 5 senses. In addition, our main area of focus is social development, socializing, sharing & working in groups.
All areas of learning under the Montessori Methodology are introduced and children are guided to work independently. Academics are reinforced where Literacy, Numeracy & understanding of world are given focus.
In addition to Montessori style free-play & learning through play, concepts of phonics, numbers & alphabets are introduced & children are able to read small words, understand their usage & write on their own. Arabic language is also introduced.
By the end of this year children are fully prepared for primary school Grade 1. Most children are able to read & write full sentences on their own, as well as understand tens & units. Social & Emotional intelligence as well as the Arabic language are skills that are further developed.
3 to 6 year olds with all levels of cognitive abilities are welcome at our ELC. We use a fully integrated & inclusive approach for their development. For children that require additional support, special one-on-one therapy session in consultation with a specialist available - please ask for details.
